Thank you! I was added :-)

I requested to join but haven't been accepted yet :-(

Come join ladies!! And invite whoever you'd like! :-D

I requested to join! Our groups sound super similar as far as minimal rules and not getting kicked out for inactivity. Yay for positive groups!

Search MOMSwSASS and the picture should be a white flower. Everyone is welcome :-)

They deleted me after I said I created a new group...must have been threatened. So childish.

What's yours??? I'd love to join.

I don't normally comment but maybe another view of what's being said will help. I understand both sides but I think we want to teach our children to pick up after themselves and how to do age-appropriate chores because it teaches them to respect the…

Oh and it has great suction which is adjustable plus it has a letdown button!

When my daughter was born she had trouble latching and we struggled for about 9 weeks but I was determined. The hospital had a medela symphony pump, which retails close to two thousand dollars (yikes!). So when you leave the hospital they can give y…

Yum! I make my own but haven't tried it with dates. I will though, thanks for sharing! :)

This is good to know!
-
Best of luck! Fingers are crossed!! :)

Totally normal. My daughter does it when she's excited. She'll flap her arms up and down, shuffle-kick her legs, or clap. From what I've heard, all very normal and common :) no need to worry.

@angie87 whole foods. Actually the amazing grass kidz superfood is on sale there now. Don't by spirulina powder there it's much cheaper through amazon. Since it's for an infant I've read not to use spirulina powder that is produced out of lake water…

@Bahamamama4828 I've contacted a few pediatrician offices that had LCs listed on the international lactation consultant website as available for mentors, as well as a few private consultants that were listed. Today I'll call my local la leche league…

@Bahamamama4828 thank you that's so nice! Right now I'm trying to find a mentor to work with for my 500 hours...I'm doing pathway 3. It's hard networking when I don't know any LCs personally.

K. Thanks! Btw...i don't talk much on here but I just thought I'd say thank you to you cuz I'm finally starting the process to become an Ibclc. I didn't know much about it before i 'met' you on here! So thank you! You inspired me! @Bahamamama4828 S…

Eeek. So far she hasn't had allergies to anything and shellfish allergies don't run in our family. Ooo that kinda freaks me out. I could try it though. Just 1/4tsp.
-
She's still exclusively breastfed but occasionally needs a bottle and we used up my freezer supply. Would that recipe without the spirulina work as an occasional supplemental bottle until she's done nursing?
-
Hmmm. She can't have that under one year right? @Bahamamama4828
-
That one seemed a little complicated for me so i thought I'd try this one first. The only thing I'm not adding yet is the spirulina powder because since it's made from algae I've heard ppl can have an allergic reaction to it like shellfish and my da…

I just bought goat's milk today to use in a recipe for homemade milk for my daughter. It has young coconut water in it to make up for the potassium, hemp milk for omega fats, and some other great things as well. I refuse to use cow's milk and this s…

Sitting on an exercise ball and rolling your hips in a figure 8. I started at 36 weeks because I wanted to go into labor naturally (whenever that would be) and by 37 weeks I was 90% effaced and she came on her own at 38 weeks. Walking helps too. Any…

http://www.earlyinterventionsupport.com/commonquestions/development-questions/body-control2.aspx sounds like there's still no need to worry at all at this age :)

When my daughter turned 8 months she was doing exactly what your describing. The rocking and plopping a few inches forward. I went to visit my girlfriend whose little boy is two weeks older and he was already crawling like a pro. It took her a few h…
