Not there yet, but in my birthing class, I learned it's your body cleaning itself out in preparation for labor.
-
I'm 36+ 6 days and 1cm, due 9/19
-
It's normal for them to be worse at night, your body produces higher amts of the hormone that causes BH at night. That's what happens to me, too.
-
They have their lazy days, too. They are human! Mine is more active some days and less on others. I read amniotic fluid smells different.
-
Maybe it's "the pregnancy rash." It's not serious, just caused by stretching, dry skin. Dr told me to use either benadryl or hydrocortisone, too. What to expect when you're expecting suggests Aveeno.
-
Dr told me there aren't enough studies out to prove that. She said I could eat cold cuts in moderation. Once in awhile is ok.
-
Ok just curious. I usually just get ONE big one that lasts a long time. It's kind of annoying, lol!
-
@Ittybitty I do feel it mostly at night
-
Yes, it's my first. And now that you mention it, sometimes I do feel a ball like a head on one side. Are Braxton Hicks more like menstrual cramps then?
-
@mzmommyfirst it feels like I do it all the time! I even bought a travel size bottle of lotion to carry around in my purse. So, I reapply at work! The thicker the lotion, the better, I've found. Palmer's has a cocoa butter that comes in a tub that…

@starrxoxo9 it's still genetics, can come from your dad's side or still be on your mom's side. The itching is terrible! I got a rash, too. I'm using aveno and cocoa butter. I gave up: I scratch all the time bc I can't stand it!
-
Wrong for me!
-
I like Cristian.
-
I started eating plain yogurt with fruit, like strawberries, blueberries, grapes, pineapple, and melon. It's so yummy! You can add a little honey if it's too tart.
-
It's a little miracle. I love feeling my baby kick, it's amazing. Try poking back, it's so cute when they kick in response.
-
I know! It feels so weird! I just read that it could be hiccups, but I thought I had felt hiccups before and it was more like a series of continuous, tiny kicks/pokes. I've been wondering: how can their be bubbles without air, though? Hmmm...
-
Well, he does it A LOT then! :D I never knew they could do that...
-
It wasn't bad at all. Tasted like flat soda like @mrsSilver said. It was 105 degrees here, so when they handed me that cold drink, I chugged it no problem. Bad thing was that it gave me a sugar rush and I had to grab a snack before leaving bc I did…

@caroline8_p jelly beans?! That's awesome! Hope it doesn't make me feel sick, though!
-
Right now, the panel ones are slipping off of me, lol. Think I may go to Motherhood for their sale and try both on.
-
@SamiUK, yeah, I have some belly belts, too, but I discovered that with certain pants, if I wear low rise panties and sit for a long time, the zipper starts to dig into my skin! And I'm not very big! Just a warning! :)
-
I'm having more than one, first one is beginning of June- in two weeks! :)
-
@Jess510 I think moderation is the main thing. As long as you didn't eat 1lb of it for a week, it's probably ok. Lol
-
@Jess510 was it local or pasteurized? Local stuff is usually pasteurized and that's ok.

Ugh, I WISH he'd stay home. He works late everyday and weekends. It sucks. My hubby is a workaholic.
-
He has a schedule already, but will get hyper if I have chocolate on an empty stomach. Certain music works, too and men's voices, esp his dad's.
-
My doc said no to only 3 things; no: sushi, swordfish, or imported cheeses. She said as long as I limited everything else, I was ok. May want to check w/ your doc based on your specific health concerns. Good luck!
-
It was wrong for me. My intuition was right, though!
-
I use regular pillows but my hips hurt so much in the morning, too. Ugh, so tired.
-
I've seen my baby kick, too. It's so cute. I'm 21 weeks and started feeling him move at 17, too. My hubby felt him kick at 18. He kicks the hardest when my husband snores, lol!
