  • My husband sometimes takes microwaveables for dinner. Sometimes even hot pockets. But pastas and wraps are very simple. If you buy small preackaged meats (like Budding) he can make sandwhiches and the meat won't make the bread soggy since its still …
  • @natashalynn Well I bled postpartum for like six weeks, then it finally stopped. Then about a week after that I'm assuming I got my period because I bled heavy for about a week. Then today, about 2 to 3 weeks after my period, I had very light bright…
  • I had a csection 9 weeks ago. The edges of mine get sharp pains sometimes too. I figured it was because the edges are more sensitive for some reason. Family I have said that its normal and it may never go away, just like the numbness. Has to do with…
  • @pregoointx yeah I wondered about that! I had my period at like 6 weeks PP and it was heavy. So I dont know if maybe my body is just trying to get itself back in shape! Thank you for the input :)
  • When my husband was in tech school we Skyped all the time! I used to strip for him and all that jazz! Its a great way to keep your relationship alive when there was a long distance :)
  • I wouldn't feed him via bottle if he won't take to breastfeeding right now. The bottle is alot easier to eat from whereas the breast requries more work! Baby could be feeling a little lazy. So wait for him to get really hungry then reccomend putting…
  • I got the Vicks thermometer. it reads in about 6 seconds and they are farely accurate. I like the fact that it doesnt take forever to get a reading because he gets frustrated very fast when I hold his arm down for too long. Rectal temps are the best…
  • I love the Dr. Browns bottles! I would advise going up in a nipple size if you don't feel like he's eating like he was! My son is 6 weeks old but we use the 3 months nipple sizes because it doesn't require him to work as hard! Good luck :)
  • Congradulations! :) I hope you get to go home soon
  • I would stock up on a variety of different sizes. My son was born small so he will be in newborns for a while so we have lots of them! Babies go through about 8 to 10 diapers a day! I havent had to do this, but I've heard that you can returned an un…
  • I agree with @rosiepie my period cramps definitely get less severe

  • I've done it before. Its a matter of how comfortable you are with your period and how comfortable you are with your partner. My husband and I are both comfortable with it, but only on occasions. Personally, my sex drive increases during me cycle so …

  • I read the books because they do have helpful imformation and a lot of good advice. But, the author of the book doesn't take care of my baby and doesn't know my baby like I do, so I take the information and just use it when it applies. My son isn't …
  • @momtob Oh my goodness. My labor took a turn for the worse and they just knocked me out and did a csection! The idea of forceps just scares me! Yeah breastfeeding just doesnt work in some situations, I just have to accept it doesnt work in mine! The…
  • Let us all know when you see the doctor!
  • ITS BABY TIME!!! :D Congrats on becoming pregnant!!!!!
  • For the first 6 weeks my son had "sponge baths" every night where they just lightly rubbed him clean. Our peditrician recommended to us only bathing them every 3 to 4 days because bathing to often dries out newborns skin. I don't know how …
  • my husband has the samsung evo through sprint. the pricing for phones it about 100 bucks with all the rebates and sales. I'd reccomend getting insurance on the phones though. If the system fails (as smart phones tend to do) they replace it for free.…
  • Helllo! I'm 19, so I'm close to your age! My son Janson is six weeks old :)
  • @Nova thank you so much! I know I'm doing the best I can but I'm dissapointed. I wish my body would have treated my baby better! @benteleysmommy716 thank you! I'm really proud I did make it through everything and he's atleast had a good start. I'm …
  • Thank you @hot2cold87 and @juliansmommy @yazmin31 yeah we are excited. they wont really give us a date on when he may come home... not even a guess... I'm kinda annoyed about it lol but he isn't eating from a bottle well but hopefully he starts ca…
  • Thanks everyone! :) @yazmin31 He is 21 days old and weighs 5lbs 5ounces now :)
  • @armahnismommy Yeah. After his two surgeries his oxygen saturation will be in the 90s whereas a normal persons is 100. But other than being fatigued easier and being at risk for heart problems later in life he will be normal!
  • @myheartx3 yes everything went well! The night of the surgery he coded but they were able to pull him back and he's been doing fantastic since. We got to hold him for the first time since Thursday! They think in 2 or 3 weeks he can come home
  • @armahnismommy Thank you! :) We think he is the cutest little man ever! He has several heart defects. Theres not really a specific name for the collection of defects. But he has puLmonary stenosis (he doesnt get enough blood flow in his pulmonary …
