I have the same thing I get cold sores 2 or 3 times a year Ive told doctors about urs all my life and they never seemed concerned and I found out there is actually a percentige in the world that this happens too so its really nothing to worry about

I got myself retested a couple of weeks ago when my husband informed me that he'd had a sexual partner he had not informed me of before we got back together. My doctor asked about symptoms and when I mentioned he gets cold sores she added a hepatitis test that they don't do for basic screening. I came in negative for stds and positive for the cold sore hepatitis, but they aren't concerned with it. It isn't an std.
