I have it ....the non warts non cancer kind ......whatever that means.....My Dr said it wouldnt affect the pregnancy as a matter of fact pregnancy has been found to actually help .
Hpv is incredibly common. I don't think it's something to be too concerned about unless you start having abnormal pap smears, but it's more important that you keep up with your yearly exams if you have it.
I just recently heard of this. Back when I was 15 weeks my dr did a pap n said he saw some abnormalities and explained I had the first stage of hpv. He did a biopsy of my cervix when II was 29 wks n it came back I still have it Still not sure what it is. He just told me nothing I have to worry bout. I was blown away now I have tons of. ?s how will it affect baby if I have her vaginaly?
My mom also had it. She got the cancer but, they were able to scrape tge cancer cells out. She doesn't have the cancer but, carrys the virus. She's healthy and, was able to have my brother with no problems.
Found out almost 3 years who i had the cancer causing one. Doc did a violet and then did a leap procedure to remove it from my cervix. Couldn't have sex with hubby for like 4 weeks and then had to use protection for another 3 weeks. Doc said once he removed it my body started to build immunities against it. Had 4 paps last year and one at my 12 week appt. Doc said its gone and everything is fine..would not hurt chances of getting preg. Now I'm 20 weeks with our beautiful baby girl.
I had abnormal paps wit my first child everything eit great wit her the thing ius afta I kept gettin high grade abnormal paps afta my daughrer was born I got 2 biopsys n a scrapin n now they told me the tht everything is good but it makes ur cervix weak n I'm havin a hard time goin to full term
I have it and that was the first question I.asked is if it effected pregnancy and they said it has no effect on the baby even if you breast feed its fine. If you get the more extreme strand of hpv there may be other procedures or anti biotics while your in labor to prevent an issue
Guardasil (sp?) The hpv vaccine is something I reccomend all you ladies look into after babies arrive. Hpv really is everywhere. Hpv is also the virus that causes genital warts.
I had it and still got it. They monitored mine for a yr through colposcopys and never had a wart or lesion(cancer) but I hope my pregnancy doesn't knock it in high gear. It's a weird virus
I was told I had hpv, I went to a specialist and was then told I didn't. I do however carry cancer cells. I denied any treatment because they said I may be unable to have kids if I did go through with treatment. Im only in stage one, meaning I don't have cancer but eventually it could turn into cancer. I took my chances. Im 7 weeks on Wednesday and everythings looking perfect. God bless<3
It is common I got guardasil after my first abnormal pap ...I didn't gave the disease but its the one disease ur bf can not b tested for and can cause cancer ....even if u have it the shot can stop the other forms of it ....I got it at 24 and I don't recommend it for ppl over 21...it had side affects for me
