Categories as home page for forum?

What do you think about a page like

1) http://www.pregnancythisweek.com/forum/categories
or
2) http://www.pregnancythisweek.com/forum/categories/all

as the ' home page ' for the general forum? Would this be more useful than the current stream of discussions? I think it would might make the forum easier to keep up with and easier to browse through. Please give me your opinion!

I love it! Thank you. now just fix the back button problem (and maybe choice on color?) and I will be completely in love with this app.

ok, there is now a categories link in the top menu, if there's a positive feel about this then I could turn this into the landing page.

@ashes - what's wrong with the back button?
