I had to do the steroids pills an now the procardia every 4 hours I hope they take me off it tomorrow:) wow bein at 3 I hope he stays in atleast for few more wks . Do they have ur contractons stopped now ?
@jess_jude I would honestly be lying to you if I told you it was easy. It us hard but the nicu typically has the best nurses around. I was scared when they said I would loose him but I just decided to put it gods hands. The doctors are smart and can help you but they can not decide Jeremiah's fate on this earth. My Justin come home at 35 weeks gestation and weighed 3lbs 12oz. Just hold on to your faith and god will see you through. The nursery feelings you have I understand I had done nothing. It will all come together . I will post you a picture of justin so you can see how great he is.
@jess_jude this is justin at the beach this summer. Please stay strong and if you need anything or have quedtions I will help you anyway I can. BTW I am on strict bedrest this time as well. I guess it was not so bad last time cause I am doing it again.

Those steroid shots work miracles! Babies who get them and the full 48 hrs for them to take full effect need much less if any respiratory support. I'll be praying that you make it til at least 28 weeks (which will make Jeremiah's nicu stay significantly shorter). However, 25-27 weekers who have had steroids do pretty well in the nicu.

@Everyone sorry for taking too long to update! I was transferring rooms and taking many pills I've been sleeping the past two days! They said I'm staying here until I deliver Jeremiah. He is already head down and in position. They did say that me sleeping with my feet up has helped push back his bulging bag a little bit but still 2-3 cm dialated. They don't want to really check because they can see the bag and don't want to cause infection. I'm off my catheter thankfully and magnesium now that I got my second shot of steroids. Now the waiting game begins!
@mommytobe505 I was originally going to go to lovelace the new hospital. But ended up moving instead to cruces. Apparently I am meant to have my little guy up here congrats!! I'm at UNM they have t he best NICU in all of new Mexico and el paso.
@Mrz_Jackson2anpreggo yeah they have me stabilize but giving me pills to stop contractions apparently this morning without even realize I was getting them every 2-3 min. Hopefully he stays as long as possible.
@Babynewyear2012 yeah I'm starting to feel better my family is helping to get everything ready. Thank you I most definitely keep in touch! Makes me feel like we can overcome this! I'm sorry you r on bedrest again tho. I will take any bit of help. Ur son is handsome he seems so big!! Gives me hope!! ^_^
@cgm1113 lol yup sounds like mine. He crosses his legs and everything. Makes me smile all the time he is one fiesty little guy! Today tho he was a little stubborn he was knocked out in the u/s I think it was the pill they gave me cuz I was falling asleep too!
@Math_Mommy thank you! I am going to need friends especially with them not wanting to let me go until I go into labor! and yes mam I got one earlier today they said he was 24w instead of 25. but that they could see the shots working!
@mshahir thank you so do I! Any extra day I get I'm grateful! I am glad that dr caught it too. I am going to give him a thank you basket because of him being so thorough and a good dr he helped me keep My son in longer! I had spent maybe 30 min long with him but he was so nice! He deserves a lot of credit! More than the nurses and technician was giving him!
@Island_Mommie2B thank you! it helps knowing I have support out there! But I now get to order my own meals so the food isn't so bad anymore guess they feel pitty on those of us stuck here!
@Island_Mommie2B Yeah I am not a fan of the catheter!!! It hurt and between Jude being too "careful" and nurses banging it a little I was excited to get it out!! thank you! Except I did something to my calble cuz its not working now! but the food has gotten better!
@jess_jude I am really glad your contractions are better. Bedrest isnt so bad I get to spend alot time talking to Addison and making sure she knows how much we love her and want her! Justin is a strong boy and I think our fight to get him here has alot to do with it. Be Strong! I will continue to pray!

@Babynewyear2012 thank you. We try talking to him keep him in there. But they gave me a red pill twice to stop contractions yesterday which knocks me out. He is too thrilled to come out

@cgm1113@everyone he was measuring small. they said more 24 w than 25 w. 9 days off my due date first time out of all u/s that came back. They said could be his position but they r going through my records from my previous dr see if they missed anything else!! >:( he weighs 1pound8oz they want me to visit with genetics as well.
@Jess_Jude My Cousin Was Born At 24 Weeks. She Was 1lb9oz & Was In The Hospital Till She Was Weiqhinq Passed 5 Pounds. Now She Is A Walkinq Healthy 7 Year Old .!

@Island_Mommie2B lol I know I was glad it wasn't me! I know he will too. Everything is coming back perfect only problem they had was his size but he is definitely moving a lot for them. he surprises them

@Island_Mommie2B yeah lol they put me on monitors and he starts kicking at them. Lol they dont even really ask to count his kicks as they can feel them. He is my tough little man! He gets stronger everyday! thank you again for the support!
