SO EVERYONE KNOWS!!!

My son in the nicu got to nurse for the first time today and did wonderfully!! He is a week old today and has been in nicu since birth. I got to hold him first with a gown over my clothes, then he started rooting all crazy and I got to nurse him! He went for a steady 10 minutes which is super impressive for the first time. I'm so happy, the nurse has told me earlier on the phone I wouldn't even be able to hold him cause he started the billarubin light treatments and I not only got to hold him, but nurse!! Yay!!!

Yay! Do kangaroo care as much as they let you! I used to spend all day with my son in the nicu..never missed a day for 53 days
