Hey no worries. Everyone has different ideas and opinions, and as long as we don't infringe on the right of others to speak freely without fear of persecution let's keep the convo going! Variety is the spice of life right!
@Fate - I love your posts I would buy my son a doll if he wanted one. I would also buy my daughter Hot wheels if that's what she enjoyed. Hate to break it to people, but if your kid is gay, the toys you get them won't change that. Oh, and I feel sorry for any little punk a** bully that says something stupid to my kid about playing with a doll
I believe the reason why girls and boys are interested in the playing with other gender toys is to copy mom and dad my dd plays with tools truck and a quad and my step son plays with dolls and wears heels I think because we do it they figure why shoudnt they. I mean I've been in my house in heels and a hammer fixing stuff quickly cuz I couldn't wait for my hunny to do it. Eventually they stop playing with the toy and life goes on. I would btw buy my son a toy doll. I see it as wanting to be like mom with a baby and if he wants to be like me right on I'm pretty awesome lol
Sorry but I don't think there is anything wrong with it when I was young a had a friend who was a year younger than me who was a boy and his mum didn't let him play with dolls or push a dolls pram. And now he is gay. Have nothing against gay people my sister is gay. Just making a point that I don't think boys should be stopped from playing with dolls a mean girls play with ken an action men as well.
So boys that don't play with dolls aren't nurturing or caring? I know for a fact that is not true. My husband is a perfect example, he never played with dolls or girly stuff and he is a very caring & nurturing husband/father.
