My baby does have shots but wic never asked for her shot records tho. I don't think they care.

Shots are not mandatory. Nobody can make you give your children shots.

@cristnalynn No they are not mandatory but just like school if they make it a prerequisite of the service u have to do it if u want it. No debate I know there r ways around it. I was asked for mine last time 2.

I get wic and they always ask me but Makenzie can't get her shot due to having Cancer. They didn't ask for proff or anything though. Didn't seen like they cared to much.

I don't do shots, but they never asked me for it. If they did I would just say I need an exemption form, just like schools.

It says in my WIC folder that I must have up to date shot records each time I come in, but they only ask for them during my re evals. Im sure there are ways around it like stated above ^

Ok thank you. I hope I get approved even thow she does not have her shots . We just don't have her birth certificate have not orderd it yet . I am just worried we won't get it . Thank you for your help ladies

That's so weird. Here its records or Medicaid info. I volunteered there plus I use to get wic and never been denied.
