    K. Thanks! Btw...i don't talk much on here but I just thought I'd say thank you to you cuz I'm finally starting the process to become an Ibclc. I didn't know much about it before i 'met' you on here! So thank you! You inspired me! @Bahamamama4828

Sorry to hyjack your post @angie87
  • @kjackmom that is wonderful! it is a great profession to help other moms out :X
if you need any more info on LC just let me know
  • @Bahamamama4828 thank you that's so nice! Right now I'm trying to find a mentor to work with for my 500 hours...I'm doing pathway 3. It's hard networking when I don't know any LCs personally.
  • @kjackmom have you tried birthing centers, wic, hospital, le leche league etc...?
  • @kjackmom where did you find all the ingrediants
  • @Bahamamama4828 I've contacted a few pediatrician offices that had LCs listed on the international lactation consultant website as available for mentors, as well as a few private consultants that were listed. Today I'll call my local la leche league and a few hospitals/birthing centers.
  • @angie87 whole foods. Actually the amazing grass kidz superfood is on sale there now. Don't by spirulina powder there it's much cheaper through amazon. Since it's for an infant I've read not to use spirulina powder that is produced out of lake water. Two brands are recommended...Earth Wise and Pure Planet.
  • @Kimberly4411 I gave him the goat milk today with half formula and he seems to be doing good so far he really liked it and actually drank his whole bottle( lately he hasn't been finishing them).
  • @bahamamama4828 I know goat milk lacks folic acid and other vitamin so what if I dod half goat and half formula unroll he's one would he still be getting the folic acid and vitamins he needs
  • Yes that's perfect if you're comfortable with that.
