  • @bwhite55019 you're fine! You are very well spoken, and stating your opinions wonderfully. I'm Pagan and I didn't take offense. ;)
  • Everyone is making marriage sound so horrible! I love being married knowing that I get to come home to my best friend for the rest of my life. He's a great man and I wouldn't have it any other way.
  • @angeliaandme I am bipolare also And very happily married
@jalem I would! But yea I agree that is rare
  • @Kriss82001 plz don't be offended I'm just curious but what is Pagan?
  • I hope that didn't offend anyone! That's not how I meant it!
  • @kriss82001 what is pagan if you don't mind me asking I'm very intrigued by religions and such
  • @twinkiesmom we both asked the same thing lol
  • Because marriage isn't permanent for a lot of people, being a mother.or father is the most permanent thing you can do. I believe in the celebration of love and being together, not necessarily the piece of paper that makes it legal. My fiancee and I tried for this baby just because we wanted a baby, weather or not we.were even dating at thee time we started trying, we were best friends and we both wanted something, we got it after getting engaged :) we won't ber married until a year after the baby is here tho.
  • @brookiesbaby I completely agree I love being married even if it is tough at times lol
  • My and my boyfriend are just that, boyfriend and girlfriend and we planned this baby, marriage is something we wanna do one day, but right now were so happy the way we are. I cant wait when we can afford it to get married and have the same last name as him and the baby but Im not stressing about it x
  • Personally I have seen too many bad marriages to want to my bf told me about two months ago that if my views ever changed he would call my parents ask permission and then pop the question to me but hes respecting my views until then
  • @twinkiesmom it's kind of like Druids, it's the old Celt religion, with a few other things thrown in. Not to be confused with a witch, more nature not bubble bubble toil and trouble. :) No offense taken, I would rather people ask then guess.

@brookiesbaby I don't think marriage is horrible at all, I think it can be a very loving wonderful thing. My parents have been happily married for over 30 years, and I envy them. I just have issues, but I'll get through them, I'm just lucky my man is patient. I didn't take offense, just wanted to say.
  • @brookiesbaby no one should be offended. You're fine. Just that the marriage statistics scare ppl. I agree with u. I love sharing my life with my bestie!! Lol would die without him.
  • @bwhite55019 lol I just noticed that. I hope she isn't offended though. I just want to know. :-D
  • @bwhite55019 when you find the right one its wonderful. You can also tell them to go away when they get on your nerves! Lol

@twinkiesmom pagan depending on whos definition you are using has many different meanings... to most christians pagan is all of the european religions before christianity (nordic, germainic, etc..) some include wicca in that list some dont some include mayan religion... it all depends... i believe @kriss55019 is refering to druid/celt belief system more commonly referred to by new agers as neo-odinism...
  • ...wait, he just asked me to tweeze is ingrown chin hair...I take my comment back. he has to go!!! =;
  • Does a 2year marriage trump a strong 10year relationship? Ppl can be very happy in their marriage now but no one knws wat tmr holds. Then theres a whole messy divorce
  • @brookiesbaby not mine when I'm mad at him hr will not go away bc he hates for me to be mad at him which is kind of sweet I guess lol
  • I don't understand why you even posted this just bcuz u married don't mean u gon be wit that person forever nd ya child still gon b there regardless while ur goin thru divorce nd all ya that so just bcuz u married don't make u better than nobody unfortunately nd I kno u said u wasnt tryna b rude but I took major offense to u posting this nd btw I'm also married
  • @bwhite55019 & @twinkiesmom Not offended, promise. It takes a lot to offend me, especially when it comes to religion. Comes from growing up overseas, no worries.
  • I enjoyed my marriage of 16 years, unfortunately sometimes our partners don't honor thier vows, which leads to divorce. I think commitment isn't necessarily for just married people. Ttc a baby out of pure love for one another is more beautiful than ttc to save a marriage.
  • Ok good! I just didn't want to step on toes! :-D
  • @Krisa82001 thanks for answering that. I really had no idea. I've seen it mentioned a few times n wanted to ask but it didn't seem like the right time. Anyway I really appreciate you enlightening me :)
  • @prettyleo87 i believe she just wanted to try to understand what us bf/gf parents think about... why we would do it... and why change from the old ways...
  • @bwhite55019 whats funny is we never fight but if he gets on my nerves I just go to another part of the house. We are just two very laid back people.
  • @prettyleo87 I am very sorry you took offense. Very much not my intention. I in no way think I am better than anyone I was merely asking for people to share their viewpoints on this so that I could have a more well rounded understanding

  • Its a no brainer that a child is gonna be happier in a unmarried family that are happy and not arguing than a married family that are constantly fighting, unhappy and staying together for the sake of the kids
  • @314babymama1120 I wouldn't worry about it nobody else took offense we are all just curious sometimes its a great topic as long as there's no judging :)
