Congrats on your baby boy. I'm so curious, how is UNM? I will be delivering my twins there and might have to go up there soon due to contractions. I am 23wks now and am on bedrest. I'm in Alamogordo right now and am from Las Cruces.

I am so happy to hear this! I imagine holding him was one of the best feelings in the whole world! Keep being strong...and keep us posted. My kiddos, hubby, and I are praying for baby Jeremiah!
Aw that is so good too hear hun .. hope he continues too gain weight he will b out in no time if uve managed too hold him already my mate had her lil girl 6weeks early n wasnt allowed too hold her for like two weeks i think

Well Mr. Jeremiah has had a set back ladies he was doing so well but ended up developing a UTI causing him to need a lot of oxygen assistance. Before being able to catch the infection he had to get back onto a breathing tube and on an oscillator because the strain of fighting the UTI caused his lungs to collapse. The oscillator sends high frequency pressure to keep his lungs from collapsing in-between breathes. He needed a blood transfusion sadly we were trying to do a direct donation from his dad or my sisters because they all matched but unfortunately he couldn't wait for them to clean the blood and needed it before we could get the blood back. Along with that he was on morphine to keep him from fighting the machine and Antibiotics to fight infection as well as fluids since they stopped his feedings of breast milk. He has since stopped his morphine and returned to a normal ventilator. Yay! He stopped antibiotics and the infection was cured and is now back on his feedings! As much as we would have perferred to hold of on the transfusion i believe it helped a lot!! He also has learned to pull his tube out (which momma is not to happy with! Let me tell u!). He is not thrilled to be back on it and tries to pull it out all the time! Lol his lungs r looking so much better and I also have been able to hold him!! I want to say thank you to all the prayers and get well wishes because I honestly believe they have helped him! He is definitely a fighter! I am going to try to keep updating more its just the past few days I have been running around trying to get ready because we were not prepared for him! But so far so good ladies he is definitely getting stronger!!
