I wasn't trying to be judgmental. I was just stating what i know. And i come from a family of pot heads so i know what its like. My mother had to smoke it due to medical reasons but went without numerous times due to money issues

The post about pot being an herb there for making it safe doesnt make sense. Just think of all the herbal teas that are dangerous during pregnancy. If pots an herb thus making it safe then all herbal tea would be safe.

Without a doubt. We should work on legalizing pot and illegalizing alcohol. But i have done a lot of good research and have my own personal experiences. So i may come off as judgemental i don't mean to it just comes out that way
@mommy_in_sept I've made it a point to listen and read everyones posts and opinions. I think everyone that has spoke with me will agree. I haven't tore anyones posts down. That's what we've been doing, sharing opinions in a classy way.
I would just like to say that I drank large quantities of beer and smoked lots of cigarettes before I was pregnant. So I am for sure not judging anyone about putting anything harmful in their bodies. I quit cold turkey when I saw that pink line though (well I finished my pack of smokes and quit the next day) and haven't done it since!
Pot may not be addictive but one blunt is as bad as 5 ciggs, so why not smoke cigarettes if ur just smoking weed during pregnancy they r actually healthier other then the addiction. Also weed kills millions of brains cells a minute when u smoke it. Imagine what that does to ur baby. Anyone can make weed sound fantactic and okay for pregnant women but u know deep down that its not healthy. Those who try to convince others extremely hard the weed is fine during pregnancy are usually the ones that feel the worst cause they are smoking it and want someone to agree to make them feel better. If weed isn't addictive, why not wait till ur babys born before u smoke it, wnt hurt u right iys not addictive??
U can find something on the internet to back up ANYTHING u want. It's common sense that smoking weed while pregnant is bad for ur baby!!! Ur putting smoke in ur body!!!! it scares me that some of u might be pregnant.....
Why not protest the use of drugs like cytotec that are PROVEN to be dangerous for mother and baby and can cause the death of both? Yet it is ROUTINELY used by drs to induce labor even though the fda has specifically said it is extremely dangerous and only to be used for ulcers. This, to me, should be a way more hot topic than MJ which is a harmless plant that has no proven side effects or dangers. It is legal where I live, and I personally feel it is a waste of time to punish women for taking a natural route to ease discomfort, why other punish the drs who are knowingly putting their patients are extreme risk daily without informing them? Scary stuff. Just my opinion though.
