Encephalocele update **updated 8:15 pm EDT**

Today's the day we go in for the follow up appointment. The office we are going to has better equipment so they can get a better look at what's going on. I haven't even bene able to pray for a miracle, just the strength to get through this. It's been a rough 5 days (I've lost 7 lbs, despite my husband forcing me to eat). If you can spare some time to pray for our baby bunny this morning, please?

Update:
The doctor confirmed the diagnosis and we were able to see the deformity much more clearly this time. The severity was unmistakable, and the decision has been made to terminate the pregnancy. Thank you all so much for the love and support you have shown here. I'll be back when the next one comes along.

Its an opening in the babies head and the brain develeopes outside of the babies skull. Normally its fatal.

I have been praying for you. Please don't lose hope. I have a friend who's granddaughter was born with Encephalocele. She is now 2 years old, and although her speech is a little delayed she is a very happy, bright little girl. She's had one surgery so far and looks pretty normal.
