Unfortunately it sounds like you need to hire a private lawyer. A lawyer will push the cops to the edge to do what needs to be done. The problem with that is they are expensive. But you might be able to find one maybe through a friend or family that will work with you on a price or something. If not this then go higher up. Go to whoever the investigators boss is. Go to the District Attorney. Push more, and push now, because the baby belly will say a lot. Its sad and I don't mean to sound dirty and bitchy by saying to exploit your belly, but sadly and truthfully it will work.
When they say they don't have the evidence... did you get a rape kit taken? Did they take samples, pictures, and keep the clothes you were wearing all bagged and sealed for evidence? I mean that's a lot right there. They will look for bruising or marks. If they don't find any sometimes that's when they don't have the evidence, because then it's just your word against his. I would push it as far as you can until true justice is served
The cops in WA are being investigated by the ACLU for being so shitty at their jobs. That just pisses me off so much. I watched my dad get arrested for hitting and running a ROCK. Cops barged into my house and took him out in handcuffs because our neighbor didn't like him and controlled the cop's pensions. I hope you get your justice. There are some cops who actually want to uphold the law, not shoot and kill whoever they want when they want.

Perfectly understandable if you don't want to go public. It takes guts to just tell the cops. I like the idea of talking to the investigator's superiors, tho. If they don't do anything, then the next option would be to get a lawyer and have them investigated.
I'm sorry that happened to you, I was getting abused and raped off and on for almost 10 yrs and every time i tried to tell someone no one believed me, I had a doctor tell me that since i've had "sex" there was no way a physical exam would prove rape and that i was making it up because i "regretted" hooking up....i'm a military brat so i know that ppl in positions suck in a lot of states...Keep pushing forward, at least the police know about it....the longer they procrastinate the more they will lose in the end.

They are just trying the easy way out and say it was concensual. No deserves to be raped! what is consenting age there? How old is this guy? Well how long after did you report it? Because the rape screening kit proves evidence of semen or vaginal trauma. That's usually right after though idk about if someone waits to long my knowledge with reporting it is scarce. I personally was raped at 12 molested by my brother until I was about 10 and raped at 18 by my own base in cheerleading. I never reported any of it and I regret it. GIRl do everything you can to lock the bastard up and I wish you luck.
I went to the hospital and had the kit done not even 8 hrs after... I was still bleeding bad. I was told that the rape kit should be done within 24 hrs...

SHE IS BARELY 13 IN 7TH GRADE!!
