Ive been turned down jobs because I dont speak spanish..why do I need to learn their language in our country?. I have nothing against legal immigrants who come here to live a better life. I have a problem with the illegals. Who have no ibtentions of becomibf legal yet still majes more money then I do

I had a previous employer tell me he hired me for my last name (Castro)..I'm the worst Mexican tho...I hate hot food and no espanol for me. I'm mixed feelings about this topic..I get annoyed with all the illegals and overpopulation, but at same time its not their fault where they were born. I do think that having everything in two languages sucks tho. My gpa was an immigrant and his old butt learned English!
I hate that it has to be 'immigrants will work harder' that statement comes from a racist mind-set. I hate it when people have racism double standards. Ppl don't want someone to judge you for being a certain color but then go around putting people in a category themself.. but its okay cuz its positive on their side?my grandfather is 87, a retired fireman and continues to work as a trucker to this very day. My dad and his father are contractors and basically break their back about 60 hours a week. Yes, some Americans are lazy. But I can guarantee you no matter what country I go to, there are going to be lazy people there regardless. I work at a hotel and I can say that I have met plenty of wonderful foreign people at my job that I absolutely love. I can also say that I've come across a lot of people who come in and get mad at ME because I don't speak THEIR language. I do think that the immigration laws are a strict and unfair but for anyone to say rude things and categorize the people in this country when the people here are the ones that have built it, and are making the jobs that others want, I think is really unfair. Especially when I see soo many hardworking, respectful men trying so hard right now and struggling with their families because they've been laid off:/
