I think if you immigrate to a country you should know the language even if its not perfect. not even nationals of any country are perfect in their own language.
Yeah it really does go both ways... like fir instance when people from the US go on vacation and expect the people from that country to speak English. I'm not saying that its every American but that happens a lot.
But you know whats also great? In America we have the right to speak whatever language we want.:) no offence taken. in most countries people speak more than one language i think its great being bilingual, lol you have a better chance of getting a job than someone who just speaks one.
@excitedforbaby they teach English in most schools actually, in most of the border towns a lot of the local kids learn English from tourists! Its crazy..
Thats awesome! @angieahrens my hubby grew up as a missionary's kid and lived in Nicaragua his whole life from age 6 to 18 and the first thing they did was learn Spanish its funny cause he is half Mexican half Dutch but his mom who is Mexican didn't speak a word of Spanish!
@mshahir some do take planes but eventually after years they find them. I know a girl she came over here 5 years ago from Europe and her sister as well. She was recently deported and is trying to come back and the way it looks like she will be blocked for 10years. But I don't wanna argue because you are right not all come here own their own.
