Don't drink milk. Milk is hard to digest so it makes the heartburn worse. Also tums contain a lot of calcium, which is why milk is not good. Calcium is hard to digest causing more heartburn. My OB recommended mylanta, which works really well for me.…

I'm taking baby aspirin to prevent blood clots. I've had a pulmonary embolism in 2003 following a spinal fusion. While pregnant we r at a higher risk for blood clots due to the extra blood in our systems. I don't know about preventing miscarriages. …

My OB told me no constant lifting of anything over 25 lbs. I have a 2 year old who is 29 lbs. She said once in awhile is ok like in/out of crib or car/carseat, but no carrying him anymore. He's pretty good about walking.
