OMGoodness. Well hopefully babies come today. I can't imagine the pain or discomfort you are feeling right now. Lots of prayers going out to you babe. Hope all goes smoothly today and you are holding babies by the end of the day. stay strong and keep smiling.
Oh boy oh boy! It won't be long now! I can't wait for the next update, I just know it's going to be announcing the arrival of your beauties! Hang in there mama!
***UPDATE: HIT A SNAG 6:01 PM CST*** Alright, here we go. My body retained so much fluid that my skin is tight and hurts to touch. I don't have knees or ankles or elbows, and even my belly is swollen. Contractions are intensifying, but my cervix still wont cooperate. So I'm stalled at a 6ish (depending on who checks me), and the only things I can do to help is bounce, walk, or squats Which all hurt because of my swollen legs.... but I'm freaking doing them anyway! The doc may have convinced the hospital to let him induce at 38 weeks due to "extreme discomfort and pain", so I will find out if that is a go on Monday (I'll be 38 weeks). I'm finally keeping food down, and they the medicine allows me to sleep through contractions. My water is leaking, but not enough to "proceed with help" yet. So maybe nurse Brooke will help me out again tonight! I would love her forever and ever. *sigh* I'm still exhausted from the medicine, so I'm going to go take a nap. I'll update after they check me tonight. Thanks to all of you beautiful, wonderful ladies for your support! You have no idea how much it means to me!
@jtmoon98 well I'm super lucky my twins are in a position that I don't have to have a c section, so I'll hold off on that as long as I can!
@almost4 They wont give me an epi yet, but I was ordered Demerol as needed every 4 hours- BUT it stalled my contractions out last time They gave me the recommended dosage. So I'm winging It right now. Haha
Oh man!! I am saying an extra long and pleading prayer for you tonight, that labor speeds up and your girls are in your arms soon!! You poor thing! I hope nurse Brooke comes through for you and you're not even in need of induction by Monday!
