All of the illegals I no don't pay taxes they exempt them all the while they r using otjer peoples social security numbers and the guys need to start worrying about the kids there making here before they send all there money back to mexico I'm a lil bitter right now LOL
We recently moved here to pa for my husbands new job and AFTER spending all our savings on the house and moving our family here the job fell through. Now we had to apply for assistance and they are making me five months pregnant go to some job search program.. I can barely get out of bed!! But they won't help my husband get a job?? The system is horrible and im hoping one of his recent interviews pays off so we can get off assistance!! Fyi massachusetts and pa have job requirements.. You either go to school full time or go to a job search program for thirty hours a week. And in pa you can only get assistance for five years your entire life. two years in mass than your cut off for five before your eligible again. So its not that easy to live off the state and its called temporary assistance. People who think its free money for life are mistaken. Also in mass there is a cap rule. Once your on welfare any kids you have after the original application they won't give you anything for those subsequent children.
My husband is hispanic. I'm white. He has literally lost job opportunities because he is hispanic. They hired a white boy fresh out of high school with no experience over my hubby having years of experience because they felt white boy would be more reliable and he showed more enthusiasm. Ot kid quit a month later. The shortest my husband has ever kept a job was four years.
What about the budget cut that's ferrying ready to take place? I'm in ohio and I know that they are going to put a cap on childcare, and right now women can be At 185% of poverty guidelines, same for foodstamps. However the new budget is going to make it 125% of poverty guidelines. Plus a cap, so only so many people can get assistance. And the poverty guidelines have just changed, first time in over 25 yrs. Again I am going for social work so this is our hot topics that we are keeping an eye on.
Living in CA I wish our state did more to stop illegal imigrants. I was shocked to learn that they can apply for medicade and other services that are offered to AMERICAN CITIZENS. I know millions of people come here for a better life but GEEZ we have to draw the line somewhere! I think the goverment needs to do more to close our borders. Andits frusturating trying to find a Damn job in this state, the unemployment in my City is 10%. Im sick of going everywhere and not seeing signs in English and not having ppl talk to me in understandable English. Im just so fed up with the Immigration problem my state has. Illegal immigrants drain a lot of money out of social services and most of them DON'T pay taxes.
I personally see no issue with help to get through tough times.. abusing the government though is wrong.. me and hubby are both working full-time and get hel cause we make hardly enough to get by.. but in no way are we over using that.. not thay I think anways
@Seifer12211 here in Illinois its been bad budget cuts! n childcare assistance has lowered they now help w less percentage I got marrird a month ago n withdrew my kids from daycare n quit my job bc we moved to a diff city. Hubby kept his well paying job but it wasnt worth to keep mine all my money would go to daycare n gas! oh n taxes went up n not to mention gas!its like $4 a freaken gallon
