I'd rather see you be "heartless" than a doormat!!! I think you were right to kick him out. If he wants to stay he needs to contribute, period!!!

I like Paige, too! I don't think it is too common at all, especially for a middle name.

15 weeks this time. With my last pregnancy the tech could tell at my 12 weeks scan. I was impressed!

I had one that I used with my first 2 babies. I pumped very seldomly and it worked perfectly for the amount that I used it. None of my babies liked bottles very much but they were willing to use the Avent bottles and nipples. That said, check with …

@Cali83 - Thanks! Congrats to you too. This little bean is a boy! :)

I'm 20 weeks today, too!!!! :)

I like Rylie, too. I think it sounds best with your last name. Our boy is going to be Reilly.:)

I love designing nurseries! There are so many awesome ideas here... I want to see pictures!!!!

I wore a regular stainless one through 3 pregnancies and never had an issue with it. My midwife was surprised that it stayed in at first and that it wasn't uncomfortable but never suggested that I take it out.

Lol! This all reminds me why I'm so glad I see a private practice midwife! Half the time she comes to me and I don't have to even leave the house! When I go to her she always makes tea and we sit and talk for an hour. :)

Congrats!!! My little boy is due in October, too!!!!

I think it depends on your relationship. My fiance and I have been together for a long time and we are really secure in our relationship. I am also not at all the jealous type (totally nothing wrong with it at all if you are...). Our idea of a relat…

I'm really, really sorry to hear about your niece. That is heartbreaking. I think everyone handles grief differently and he isn't right or wrong, just different. It will be sad if the situation with your niece takes the joy out of the ultrasound for…

I got a pedicure for the first time in years while my best friend hung out with my kids all day!

I try to find regular clothes that have enough room for my belly. I'm not hugely into designer fashions but I'm a model so I like to look nice when I go out. Most maternity clothes make me look like I'm getting ready to go into a retirement home... …

Waterbirths are amazing! I think it is great that you want to look into it as an option. You can talk to some midwives in your area and see if they offer it as an option. I don't see why being 16 would have any negative effect on your birthing optio…

No, actually I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole even when I'm not pregnant. But, no. :)

Pretty!!! I like it!!!!

Seven slings are awesome. Just choose your size carefully because that style of sling isn't adjustable. Moby wraps are fabulous for newborns, though! They are a little complicated to get the hang of the first few times but they are so snuggly and c…

My daughter is Sage Autumn. :)

Yay!!!!! Congrats mama!!! My instinct is always wrong on gender... but I do usually have one very telling, very vivid dream in the first few weeks that is right on... i just need to learn to listen to it! We find out next weekend and I can't wait!

I absolutely agree with @homebirthadvocate. Also, keep in mind that late ultrasounds are notoriously inaccurate. Your OB may push for an ultrasound at 38 or 39 weeks and tell you the baby is huge... but these ultrasounds can be off by up to 2 pounds…

Wow, we have kids almost the same ages. This is my fourth, too! I have boy, girl, boy... ages 7, 5 and 16 months. I homeschool, too, so the older kids are home with me all day. I have my stressful days but mostly I love it. The big kids all have cho…

My best friend had severe PCOS and actually needed multiple fertility treatments to conceive. She breastfed both her kids for over a year with no problems and no supplementation. I'm sure you can do it!!

I'm so sorry to hear that you are struggling and hurting. It must feel really bad to feel like you have been left behind by your friends. You are right though, your choices got you here, and you have to be strong for your babies. I hope you have a s…

We use cloth diapers but I'm kind of aa hippie that way, lol!!

Did your belly measure 23 weeks (with the tape measure) or did he do an ultrasound and measure the baby?

@huneybee The actual amount of nerves removed during the procedure are between 10000 and 20000. That is a lot of nerve endings to lose as far as later sexual pleasure goes. Another purpose of the foreskin is for protection and lubrication of the gla…

Honestly, I know this is a very personal issue and a hotly debated one. My boys are not circumcised and it is not a procedure I would EVER subject one of my babies to. There are so many myths regarding cleanliness, std transmission, tradition and so…
