Hello all! I am mom to a 13 yo daughter, 3 yo son, and an almost 6 mo daughter who was born on July 6th! I have been a member since February (I think), but haven't been on much in the past couple of months.... Too busy with mommyhood and working f…

My baby girl is the sweetest baby! I had her July 6th. She's been sleeping through the night for a couple months. She never has a bad day and is all smiles. She is also rolling from her back to her belly. She loves to sit up in her bumbo chair.…

Cleaning it with alcohol will help. If his navel is red or looks inflamed call the doctor. My baby girl got an umbilical infection called omphalitis. So she needed alcohol and a round of antibiotics. Good luck!

If you can afford to take the time, then go for it. I worked until the last minute with my 2 youngest.... I definitely wish I was in a position that would have allowed me to leave a few weeks before. As far as your boss is concerned.... She can su…

Try giving her a little gripe water... See if it makes a difference. It helped with my son.

My baby did the same thing! It is terrifying. She was diagnosed with acid reflux. She still occasionally has an episode like that, but she's on Zantac and formula for acid reflux. The Zantac helped alot.

Yes .. Pressure and increased blood, volume. It sucks! How far along are you?
-
I was uncomfortable for about a week. But I also had a few dissolvable stitches. The water bottle did help. I also used dermoplast and it helped alot too.

I had an episiotomy with my first (7# 2oz), none with my son (8#), and had a minor tear with my 3rd (7# 7oz).
-
It helped me... I was taking it and blessed thistle. It increased my production to over 20oz per 15 min pumping session. Good luck, momma!

Bahaha... How dare you voice your uncertainty!! LOL ... Just kidding! Good for you for speaking up. I think the name is pretty cool, but wish you luck in finding a name you are both certain of.

I'm sorry, hun. Cancer is so terrible and unpredictable. I've had family members live with cancer for years before going into remission, and family members who we lost within a few months of being diagnosed. It sucks! I'll pray for you and you…

Any updates? Still praying for her and her family.

Yay! Congrats!

I've always heard 37 weeks is considered full term.

Sounds like it's just from your belly growing and stretching. But you know your body best.... If you feel like something isn't right, then dedinitely go in to have everything checked out. Good luck!

Congrats, Momma!

Congrats! It looked like a beautiful event. Although I didn't see a Maserati anywhere? Nobody came through with Blueberry's car?
-
Wow! Congrats!

Just relax and rest while you can. Don't stress! It's ok to be excited, but try not to stess. I was induced with my third and it was a fast labor and I couldn't have asked for a better birthing experience. Good luck!

I would at least time it to where you are employed for a year... Just so you have been employed long enough to qualify for FMLA (assuming your employer meets the criteria). Good luck!

My husband has always gotten a little nervous. With our first he was a little sick! (I had been in labor for 3 days, so he was exhausted and hadn't been eating well.) With the other 2 he was fine... Just nervous and excited.
-
Wow! I am also shocked they sent you home after your water broke! Did the test you to see if you were leaking fluid? Seems extremely negligent that they sent you home without checking or without caring about the risks. Glad that your little one …

Congrats! He's gorgeous!

I had back labor with my son. It sucks... It's a constant pain... I also didn't feel the contractions over the back pain. I took a hot shower the first day it started, and it went away. The next morning it was back again and didn't go away. A fr…

@rockinmomma - my daughter is 10 weeks (bday 7/6) and she's doing the same things although she's exclusively formula fed. She's also rolling from her back to her side when she's in bed or on a pallet. Why do you think she doesn't like you much?
-
I made it clear very early in my first pregnancy that my husband and I would be the only ones in the room. If it hurts feelings, too bad! It's your first moments with this new life you created..... You and your bd should be able to enjoy it witho…

Wow! Congrats! My first daughter weight 7# 2oz too!
